Happy New Year to you all!

Following the most recent government announcement I can confirm that Playgroup will be open as usual from Monday.

I have been spending some time with my family looking back at photos and memories from this year. There are lots of happy times to look back on. The videos from the first lockdown have made us particularly laugh. They are still on the parents Facebook page if want to go back and have a chuckle!

We chose these pictures as some of the stand out moments.

Creating rainbows and displaying in windows- then spotting them while on our daily walks. Welcoming children back in June and learning new routines and wearing PPE. Washing our hands while singing a variety of tunes including one to the tune of ‘Baby Shark’ The committee donning their painting clothes to paint the walls in the garden on a hot and sticky summer evening. Following the Pumpkin Trail map on a cold and soggy evening as we started the second lockdown.

Today we have some new restrictions but hope we can all continue into the new year with the friendship and support that we have here at Uplands Playgroup. Thank you to all our families, staff, committee and of course children- Happy 2021 to you all!
